The Coast Tsawwassen Hotel represents a major architectural milestone in Tsawwassen, marking a significant addition to the community’s built environment. This extended and complex renovation project involved a careful balance of modernizing the hotel while respecting its existing structure.

Berçin Janzen joined the project during the design development phase and led the interior design of the hotel’s main public spaces. The scope included the entire entry lobby, elevator lobbies, the fitness room (formerly a pool area), staff washrooms, corridors, and meeting rooms. Collaborating closely with the architectural team, Berçin coordinated interior finishes with exterior treatments and other architectural elements to ensure a cohesive design vision. *The guest rooms were and the FF&E of the Lobby was designed and put together separately by Curve Interiors.

This project demanded thoughtful planning and coordination due to its scale and complexity, resulting in a refreshed, welcoming environment for both guests and staff, while elevating the hotel’s presence within the Tsawwassen community.
