Marmara Interior Design Studio is a full-service design firm based in Ladner, Delta, BC, at the mouth of the Fraser River. Dedicated to creating spaces that go beyond aesthetics, Marmara focuses on supporting the people who live, work, and gather within them. The design approach is grounded in empathy, wellness, and sustainability with a strong emphasis on human-centered design that embraces equitable and inclusive principles.

Berçin Janzen
Founder/Interior Designer BID
With almost a decade of experience, Berçin specializes in creating thoughtful interior environments for both residential and commercial clients. She graduated from the Wilson School of Design with a Bachelor of Interior Design and is a proud member of IDIBC and IDC. Based at the mouth of the Fraser River, Berçin brings a rich cultural background from Istanbul, where her deep appreciation for layered history and timeless design began.
Her design ethos puts people first and focuses on creating spaces that promote equitable wellness and support the diverse needs of those who use them. She believes great design is rooted in empathy, functionality, and inclusivity, and that research-based design is a key factor in creating well livable and workable spaces that truly enhance daily life.
